-Jeff's Point of View-
Our love was secretive. Homosexual relationships were forbidden in the little community, and I never really understood why. Who were to contradict a person that likes the same gender as thee?
We had a tree house just behind my home. Dad had made it for me and Matt, but me and Rey use it now to hide and make out.
We were still high school students and every chance we got, we sneaked into an empty bathroom.

-Rey POV-
I know that's wrong in the eyes of our town but if I'm this way I am. Jeff and I have been secretly dating for months now. It started when Jeff managed to pick the lock to his dad's liquor cabinet and we hid out in the tree house and got plowed. Of course, one thing led to another and we ended up kissing. We later passed out in each other arms.
Not quite romantic but it's better then nothing.
School had just gotten out and Matt was complaining about the Geometry homework. I kept glancing at Jeff and I caught him a few times glancing at me.

-Jeff's Point of View-
I smiled a little when Rey looked over at me. I was wishing that I could take his hand in mine right now, but the town's law was the thing that was stopping me from doing so.
I was getting sick and tired of living here. I didn't want our relationship secret.

-Rey POV-
I sighed internally. I hated having such a big secret on my shoulders. Stupid rules in a stupid town just pissed me off. I knew that in an hours time, however, we'd be back in the tree house kissing our hearts away. It was the only thing we could openly do.
If only the damn town understood our feelings.

-Jeff's Point of View-
I crossed my arms in front of my chest, wishing I would've brought a jacket. Then again, I didn't figure that the cold air would've bothered me.
We were almost to the house, and Dad was outside waiting for us to get back from school.

I liked Gil. He was a nice man when you got to know him. I waved at him in greeting.
"Hola Mr. Hardy!"

"Hey there," Dad replied, smiling widely. "So, how was school?"

We all kinda shrugged. Matt talked about the football tryouts being held next weekend and whatever. I just looked at Jeff, waiting for the signal to go to the tree house. God knew I wanted to be with him alone.

I nodded. I looked and Matt and Gil were busy talking about football or one thing or another so it was the perfect chance to sneak away.

We held hands and we sneaked away, smiling slightly. We loved the forest. It was the main reason we chose it as our secret place.
